There's a River Beach Under a Highway [ VLOG ]

Our summer shenanigins took us under Highway 407 to the Credit River where this happened...

We spent about two hours in the river and eventually air-dried ourselves because hunger. On our way to the restaurant, we decided to investigate the semi-newly constructed Erindale GO train station and discovered the modern-ish look for a parking lot. The parking garage goes up six floors and we almost snuck into the seventh but decided against it when security officer came down the gated stairs.

Since there was a Dollerama, we stopped by to pick up some cat supplies for Nico's cat and this is where we found the these Minecraft books that usually retail for $8 but they were being sold at Dollerama for $2 each. Once we picked up some books and poop-scoops, it was finally time to eat.
We walked a block out of the park to a great dumpling place (it's just called The Dumpling House) where you can get fifteen hand-made dumplings for $6.99. And Bubble Republic is in the same plaza so we grabbed a large bubble tea to share and headed back to the GO station.

And with perfect timing, we ended our summer day with watching the most romantic sunset in an unexpectedly romantic place; the sixth floor of the GO train parking garage. Armed with bubble tea and some insect repellent, we headed home. I proceeded to forget to wash my bathing suit for like a week.

Thanks for reading! See you next timeeee.
