Pop It, Lock it [ Toronto Popcorn Company, Toronto ]

Food never ends because we're always as hungry for food as we are for adventure.

At the time, Toronto Popcorn Company was freshly popped and opened in Kensington Market, but since then I've followed their journey loosely. They were an important sponsor to TIFF 2014 and from what I've seen, they've done popcorn catering for many Toronto events since opening.

Just the volume of flavors available is something to be amazed at. Secondly, the label's FONTS. And thirdly, pizza flavored popcorn. Yes.

The sample bar is the coolest thing ever by the way. My favourites were definitely pizza, buffalo chicken, garlic parmesean and almost everything else actually. There isn't anything distinctly bad on the menu. All the popcorn is fresh and well-stored to ensure optimum crunch.

Here's the cute interior where you can sit and enjoy your popcorn in one sitting. The shop is on a side street of Kensington and doesn't get as much traffic, but it creates a beautifully scented, serene seating area.

We'll be back soon.

  1. I feel incredibly nerdy when I have a hunch what that typeface is called...

But anyway, enjoyable post, as always ;)
